Formulations differ
The official label explicitly distinguishes tesamorelin formulations. Their diluents, preparation and storage instructions cannot be transferred to the Monroe vial.
Injecting under the skinWhere, rotating sites, which syringe
Where
Subcutaneous injections go into the fatty layer beneath the skin. Common sites include the abdomen, outer thigh and upper arm. Keep at least 5 cm from the navel and avoid bruised, irritated or damaged skin.
Rotate sites
Change the spot each time. Clean the skin and let it dry.
Single-use equipment
Use a new sterile needle and syringe each time. Place used needles in a sharps container.
Storage
Storage
Room temperature. Do not refrigerate.
Combining it with others
Don’t combine
- CJC-1295 (no DAC)
They act on the same growth-hormone release signal and may add to side effects.
- CJC-1295 with DAC
They act on the same growth-hormone release signal and may add to side effects.
- Sermorelin
They act on the same growth-hormone release signal and may add to side effects.
- CJC-1295 / Ipamorelin
The combination already contains both growth-hormone drugs.
Use caution
Other combinations
Often taken together
- Ipamorelin
They stimulate growth-hormone release in different ways.
- GHRP-6
They stimulate growth-hormone release in different ways.
- Hexarelin
They stimulate growth-hormone release in different ways.
What the research says
The question being studied
A 2007 trial followed 412 people with HIV-related belly fat for 26 weeks. An analysis of two trials covered 806 people, with another 26-week safety follow-up. Deep belly fat was measured by CT scan.
How long it stays in your body
Half-life is the time it takes for the amount in the body to fall by half. It does not tell you how long effects last.

What it’s made of
Molecular notes
Tesamorelin acetate in the Egrifta SV reference label. Formula includes variable acetate; the mass is explicitly a free-base equivalent, not the salt’s total molar mass or a Monroe assay.

Questions
What does 10mg mean?
It describes an amount of material in the unit stated on the label. It does not describe liquid volume, a dose, or how to prepare the product.
Read more about amountsDoes purity mean it is sterile?
No. Purity and sterility require different tests. An endotoxin result also does not establish sterility.
About testingCan I calculate concentration?
You need a mass in mg and either a final volume or a target concentration. IU and blends require separate, verified information.
