Side effects & safety
Side effects
- The reference lists no documented side effects.
Stop and get help if
- Flushing or warmth, joint pain or tingling in the hands
- Swelling (fluid retention) that persists
- Headache or changes in vision
- Severe fatigue
- Signs of an allergic reaction
What regs say
- FDA's 2024 review found no human studies of the no-DAC form, for either safety or effectiveness.
- FDA flags inconsistent naming, poor characterization, purity and immune-reaction concerns; a label may not match the vial.
- FDA notes the free base dissolves poorly in water; its review confirms no mixing volume or shelf life.
Avoid or check first
- Blood-sugar (glucose) disorders
- Cancer
- Retinopathy (damage to the retina)
- Severe kidney disease

How to mix and store it
How many units do I draw?
How to mix5 steps
Wipe both tops
Wash your hands, then swab both rubber vial tops with alcohol. Let them dry.
Draw the water
Use a new sterile syringe to draw the water volume selected in the calculator.
Run it down the wall
Introduce the water slowly down the inside glass wall, rather than directly onto the powder.
Swirl, don’t shake
Gently swirl or roll the vial. Allow time for the powder to dissolve.
Label the vial
Write the preparation date and the amount and final volume on the vial label.
Injecting under the skinWhere, rotating sites, which syringe
Where
Subcutaneous injections go into the fatty layer beneath the skin. Common sites include the abdomen, outer thigh and upper arm. Keep at least 5 cm from the navel and avoid bruised, irritated or damaged skin.
Rotate sites
Change the spot each time. Clean the skin and let it dry.
Single-use equipment
Use a new sterile needle and syringe each time. Place used needles in a sharps container.
Storage
Storage
Refrigerated. Reported period: 30 days.
Combining it with others
Don’t combine
- CJC-1295 / Ipamorelin
The blend already contains CJC-1295 without DAC.
- CJC-1295 with DAC
They act on the same growth-hormone release signal and may add to side effects.
- Sermorelin
They act on the same growth-hormone release signal and may add to side effects.
- Tesamorelin
They act on the same growth-hormone release signal and may add to side effects.
Use caution
Other combinations
Often taken together
- Ipamorelin
They stimulate growth-hormone release in different ways.
- GHRP-6
They stimulate growth-hormone release in different ways.
- Hexarelin
They affect growth hormone in different ways.
What the research says
DAC and no-DAC are different
A study defined the DAC form, which binds to a blood protein. It did not confirm the sequence of this no-DAC listing.
Analytical differences
Lab detection studies distinguish blood-protein-bound CJC-1295 from related peptides that are not protein-bound.
How long it stays in your body
Half-life is the time it takes for the amount in the body to fall by half. It does not tell you how long effects last.

Questions
What does 10mg mean?
It describes an amount of material in the unit stated on the label. It does not describe liquid volume, a dose, or how to prepare the product.
Read more about amountsDoes purity mean it is sterile?
No. Purity and sterility require different tests. An endotoxin result also does not establish sterility.
About testingCan I calculate concentration?
You need a mass in mg and either a final volume or a target concentration. IU and blends require separate, verified information.
