Policies

Review Monroe Peptides policies and research-use requirements.

Last updated: October 16, 2026

Research Use Only (RUO) Policy

Purpose and scope

Monroe supplies certain chemical compounds and laboratory materials solely for legitimate research, analytical, and laboratory applications, where their sale and distribution are lawful. This Research Use Only (RUO) Policy applies only to products expressly identified as RUO on their individual product pages and labels. Monroe may also offer finished cosmetics, accessories, or other merchandise subject to separate product-specific requirements; the RUO designation must not be applied to those products automatically.

Prohibited uses

RUO products are not offered or supplied for human or veterinary administration, ingestion, injection, implantation, inhalation, topical personal use, self-experimentation, clinical treatment, disease prevention, performance enhancement, or any other medical or consumer use. Unless specifically authorized and labelled for that purpose, RUO products are not medicines, dietary supplements, cosmetic ingredients for consumer application, food ingredients, or finished medical devices. No representation of sterility, pharmaceutical grade, clinical suitability, or regulatory approval is made unless substantiated and expressly stated for the particular product.

Purchaser qualifications

Purchasers must be at least 18 years old, have legal capacity to contract, and possess the qualifications, training, facilities, and authorization appropriate to the proposed work. An age confirmation alone does not establish that a purchaser is eligible to acquire a regulated material. Monroe may request institutional, business, or end-use verification and may refuse, cancel, or restrict any order when lawful supply or legitimate research use cannot be verified.

Regulatory status

A label or disclaimer stating “research use only” does not override a product’s actual intended use or exempt it from medicine, drug, chemical, customs, or other applicable laws. Whether a product can lawfully be offered, imported, or supplied depends on the product, jurisdiction, customer, and surrounding facts. Monroe will not knowingly fulfill orders prohibited by applicable law.

Information and inquiries

Product descriptions and educational materials are provided only for lawful technical reference and do not constitute medical advice, individualized health recommendations, instructions for self-administration, or endorsements of unapproved uses. Requests for human dosing, injection, self-treatment, or other prohibited applications will not be serviced.

Terms of Service & Age Requirements

Agreement

These Terms of Service govern access to the Monroe website and purchases from Monroe (“we,” “us”). By using the website or submitting an order, you agree to these Terms and the applicable posted product policies. If you do not agree, do not use the website or place an order. The date of this edition is October 16, 2026.

Eligibility and age

You must be 18 years of age or older, or older if the law or a product-specific restriction requires it, and capable of entering into a binding contract. For RUO products, you must also satisfy the purchaser-qualification and lawful-end-use requirements in our RUO Policy. Monroe may require documentary verification; an order is not accepted solely because a checkout age box was selected.

Lawful purchasing and accurate information

You are responsible for ensuring that your purchase, possession, importation, onward transfer, and intended use are lawful in your jurisdiction. You agree to provide accurate billing, contact, shipping, and eligibility information; to maintain appropriate security over account credentials or guest-order links; and not to use our services for fraudulent, unlawful, deceptive, or prohibited activities.

Products and descriptions

Product availability, specifications, intended classifications, permitted destinations, batch documentation, and storage requirements vary by item. Images are illustrative unless explicitly identified as photographs of the actual supplied lot. We aim for accurate listings but reserve the right to correct genuine errors and contact you before fulfillment where a correction materially affects an order. A Certificate of Analysis reports only the analyses and lot identified on that document.

Orders, prices, and payment

Submitting an order is an offer to purchase; an order is accepted when Monroe confirms acceptance or dispatch, as permitted by applicable law. We may reject or cancel orders for stock shortages, unverifiable eligibility, suspected misuse, payment issues, shipping restrictions, or legal compliance concerns. We will provide any refund required by applicable law for orders we do not fulfill. Prices, currency, shipping charges, taxes, duties, and promotions are disclosed at checkout to the extent applicable. Promotional conditions are governed by their stated offer terms.

No medical or professional advice

Monroe does not prescribe, recommend, diagnose, treat, or provide instructions for human or animal use of RUO products. Information on the website is not a substitute for licensed medical, chemical safety, or other professional advice. Consumer products, including any cosmetics, are governed by the specific statements and lawful claims made for those products.

Website conduct and intellectual property

You may not interfere with the website, bypass security or verification measures, scrape protected account information, impersonate others, or misuse content. The Monroe name, product photography, copy, branding, and website materials are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws; no rights are granted beyond ordinary personal browsing and purchasing.

Other policies and statutory rights

Our Research Use Only, Certificate of Analysis, Storage & Handling, Safety Data Sheet, Research Safety, Returns & Refunds, Shipping, and Limitation of Liability policies form part of these Terms where relevant. No term in these documents limits, excludes, or overrides mandatory consumer, product-safety, privacy, or other statutory rights.

Contact, governing law, and changes

Contact info@monroepeps.com for order or policy concerns. We may update these Terms prospectively by posting a revised effective date; changes do not retroactively remove rights acquired under an existing order.

Certificate of Analysis (COA) Commitment

Our commitment

Monroe is committed to making credible, traceable analytical documentation accessible for its applicable RUO products. For every Monroe-branded RUO batch offered under this commitment, we intend to make a batch-specific Certificate of Analysis (COA) available before sale or, where a complete COA is not available, clearly disclose that limitation before purchase. A product must not be described as third-party tested or verified unless the applicable evidence exists.

What a COA should identify

A COA should identify the analyzed material and corresponding batch or lot number, issuing laboratory or responsible testing organization, report date, test methods, results, units, and relevant acceptance criteria or limitations, as appropriate to the assay. Testing may address identity, purity, assay/content, or specific impurities. The parameters available depend on the individual product and the commissioned testing.

What a COA does not establish

A chromatographic purity percentage alone does not prove chemical identity, accurate content, sterility, absence of endotoxins, absence of all contaminants, or suitability for human or veterinary use. A COA is not an FDA, Health Canada, MHRA, or EU regulatory approval, medical authorization, or guarantee of safety for a use outside its stated scope.

Accessibility and lot matching

Where a COA is available, Monroe will present a downloadable report or an accessible request path on the relevant product page. Customers may contact info@monroepeps.com with the product name and lot number to request the matching document. We will not intentionally present a report from a different lot as though it applies to the product shipped.

Quality concerns and corrections

If a customer identifies a material discrepancy between the labelled batch and its COA, Monroe will review the concern, investigate available records, and take proportionate action, which may include withholding affected stock, corrected documentation, customer notice, refund or replacement where appropriate, or other corrective action. We will not silently alter or fabricate laboratory results.

Storage & Handling Protocol

Product-specific instructions prevail

The storage conditions on each product label, manufacturer documentation, and applicable Safety Data Sheet (SDS) take precedence over general guidance on this page. Different peptides, solvents, finished cosmetics, and accessories may have materially different requirements. Monroe does not prescribe one temperature or shelf life for every item.

Receiving and inspection

On delivery, verify the correct product and lot number, inspect outer packaging and tamper-evident seals, and review the label for storage requirements. Isolate and report visibly compromised or potentially contaminated packages; do not use materials that show signs of damage or uncertain identity. Record receipt conditions where appropriate to the laboratory’s procedures.

Storage controls

Qualified handlers should maintain applicable temperature, humidity, light, segregation, and container-integrity controls; avoid unnecessary temperature fluctuations or repeated opening; keep materials in clearly identified and appropriately secured storage; and observe the stated expiry or retest date where one is provided. Where the label requires cold storage, use suitable monitored equipment and document material excursions in accordance with the facility’s standard operating procedures.

Laboratory handling

Handle RUO products only in appropriate facilities with a documented hazard assessment, relevant protective equipment, contamination controls, and trained personnel. Avoid generating aerosols or dust where relevant. Do not mix, repackage, dilute, or transfer materials without a validated, lawful laboratory protocol. This policy does not provide preparation, reconstitution, injection, or administration instructions.

Spills, exposure, and disposal

Follow the product SDS and the facility’s emergency procedures. In a suspected exposure, contact local poison-control or emergency services and provide the product identity and available SDS. Dispose of expired, compromised, or unwanted materials through an authorized chemical or pharmaceutical waste route, as required by local rules. Never assume ordinary household disposal is appropriate.

Safety Data Sheet (SDS) Accessibility

Commitment to safety information

Monroe aims to provide clear access to relevant hazard and safe-handling information for the chemical products it supplies. Where an SDS is legally required, Monroe will provide the applicable SDS in the required form and at the required stage of supply. A customer can request an SDS for an available product by contacting info@monroepeps.com and providing the product and, if applicable, lot number.

Contents and purpose

An SDS may address identification, hazard classifications, composition, first aid, firefighting, accidental release, safe handling, storage, exposure controls, physical and chemical properties, stability, toxicology, disposal, transport, and regulatory information. The document supports workplace hazard assessments but does not replace site-specific training or risk controls.

Availability and limitations

Not every product is subject to the same SDS rules in every jurisdiction, and some finished merchandise may fall outside particular chemical-SDS regimes. Where an SDS is not legally required or not applicable, Monroe may provide other relevant safety documentation when available. A missing SDS must never be interpreted as proof that a product is harmless.

Document accuracy

Monroe will seek current, product-appropriate documentation and will not represent a generic or unrelated SDS as product-specific. Users must consult the latest document for their product and comply with local workplace hazardous-materials rules, including any language requirements.

Research Safety Protocol (RSP)

Safety-first research

Monroe supports lawful, responsible scientific activity carried out by qualified personnel. This Research Safety Protocol establishes expectations for purchasers and an internal framework for responding to product-safety concerns. It is not an authorization for clinical, veterinary, or personal experimentation.

Purchaser duties

Before starting work, qualified research personnel should confirm the identity and regulatory status of each material, review its label and SDS or equivalent safety information, assess chemical and biological hazards, obtain required institutional approval, and establish appropriate containment, protective equipment, supervision, inventory controls, and emergency procedures.

Restricted activity

RUO products must not be diverted to human or animal administration or marketed, transferred, or repackaged for such use. Purchasers may not present products as approved drugs, sterilized injectables, medical treatments, or certified products unless that statement is independently true and legally authorized. Monroe may decline supply when credible concerns about prohibited end use arise.

Traceability and incident reporting

Researchers should retain product identifiers, lot numbers, receiving records, and relevant analytical reports, and report suspected contamination, labelling discrepancies, unexpected material instability, or safety issues to info@monroepeps.com. If a significant product concern is identified, Monroe will evaluate affected lots and take appropriate lawful steps, which may include a sale hold, customer outreach, regulator notification, or withdrawal/recall.

Training and ethical conduct

Appropriate chemical-hygiene practices, personnel training, approved protocols, accurate documentation, waste handling, and all applicable ethics or institutional requirements remain the responsibility of the research organization. Monroe does not provide institutional review, professional certification, or permission to perform restricted experiments.

Returns & Refunds Policy

Our approach

Monroe aims to resolve damaged, incorrect, missing, or materially nonconforming orders fairly and promptly. The protections below supplement, and never replace, any mandatory rights under applicable consumer, sale-of-goods, or product-safety law.

Report an order issue

If your parcel appears damaged, contains an incorrect item, or is missing an item, contact info@monroepeps.com as soon as reasonably possible, ideally within seven days after delivery. Include the order number, item and lot details, a description of the problem, and photographs if safely obtainable. The suggested seven-day reporting window helps investigation; it does not extinguish statutory rights.

Defective or incorrect merchandise

Where an item is defective, not as described, or supplied in error, Monroe will assess the evidence and provide the repair, replacement, refund, or other remedy required by applicable law. Do not send potentially hazardous, leaking, contaminated, or temperature-sensitive material back without written return instructions. Monroe may resolve a verified claim without requesting a physical return.

Change-of-mind returns

For jurisdictions and purchases without a mandatory withdrawal right, Monroe generally does not accept change-of-mind returns of RUO chemical materials once dispatched because chain of custody and storage conditions cannot be verified after delivery. Unopened, unused, nonhazardous accessories or eligible finished consumer products may be returned within 14 days of delivery if approved in advance, unless their product listing states a more generous policy. Return shipping for voluntary returns is normally the purchaser’s responsibility. Applicable mandatory consumer cancellation rights and lawful exceptions always take precedence.

UK and EU distance-selling rights

Where Monroe lawfully sells to a consumer in the UK or EU and mandatory distance-selling rules apply, the customer generally has a 14-day withdrawal right following delivery, subject only to legally available exceptions. A blanket “no refunds,” RUO, hygiene, or temperature-sensitivity statement is not automatically sufficient to exclude that right. Monroe will provide any required pre-contract cancellation information and model form, respect applicable refund deadlines, and identify return-cost responsibilities before checkout.

Cancellations and shipping delays

Contact us promptly to request cancellation before dispatch. Where fulfillment is delayed or unavailable, Monroe will offer the cancellation, delay-consent option, refund, or other remedy required by the applicable law. Any refund for an unfulfilled order will include shipping or other charges when legally required.

Refund processing

Approved refunds will normally go back to the original payment method unless law or an agreed alternative requires otherwise. Timing depends on the applicable legal deadline, our payment processor, and the customer’s financial institution. We do not charge a restocking fee where prohibited by law.

Limitation of Liability Policy

General principle

Monroe provides products and website information within their stated lawful scope. Users are responsible for evaluating whether a material and procedure are suitable for their legitimate research work and for maintaining appropriate safety precautions. This policy does not make an unlawful product sale lawful, nor does it transfer Monroe’s non-excludable legal duties to the customer.

No unauthorized-use warranty

Except as expressly stated in a product description or as required by law, Monroe makes no representation that an RUO product is suitable for medical, veterinary, dietary, cosmetic, clinical, therapeutic, or personal use. No website statement should be interpreted as a recommendation to use an RUO product for such purposes.

Exclusion of certain losses

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Monroe will not be responsible for remote or unforeseeable indirect or consequential losses, such as lost business opportunities, anticipated profits, or interruption of experiments, arising from an order or website use. This exclusion does not apply where such liability cannot legally be excluded.

Financial limit

Where lawful and proportionate, Monroe’s aggregate contractual liability arising from a specific purchase is limited to the amount actually paid for the product giving rise to the claim. This cap does not apply to liability that cannot legally be limited, including, where applicable, death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, willful misconduct, mandatory consumer guarantees, or statutory product-liability rights.

Preservation of rights

Nothing in this policy removes a purchaser’s right to receive goods that conform to the contract, obtain statutory remedies for defective goods, rely on non-excludable implied terms, or make a claim under mandatory law. If a limitation is invalid in a particular jurisdiction, the remainder applies only to the extent lawfully enforceable.

Shipping & Delivery Policy

Fulfillment locations and coverage

Monroe currently arranges fulfillment from the United States. Subject to product-by-product legal review and carrier eligibility, destinations may include the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, and selected European countries. Displaying a destination at checkout does not guarantee that every product can legally be imported or supplied there. Monroe reserves the right to restrict product availability by jurisdiction and to reject prohibited shipments.

Order processing and delivery estimates

Available shipping methods, charges, estimated dispatch timing, and estimated delivery windows are shown at checkout or in the order confirmation where applicable. Business days exclude relevant holidays and carrier closures. Delivery estimates are not guaranteed unless expressly sold as guaranteed. Where Monroe cannot meet an advertised dispatch period, we will provide the notices and remedies required by applicable law.

Charges, free shipping and imports

Shipping charges and any free-shipping promotion are governed by the thresholds, currency, destination, and exclusions displayed at checkout. International taxes, duties, import fees, brokerage charges, and responsibility for customs clearance must be stated before purchase to the extent legally required. Monroe will not undervalue parcels, falsify customs descriptions, or misclassify goods to facilitate delivery.

Packaging and temperature considerations

Products will be packaged according to their documented requirements and the selected shipment method. Unless expressly stated for a specific service, Monroe does not promise uninterrupted refrigeration, monitored cold-chain transport, or absence of every temperature excursion. The customer should promptly examine shipments and follow product-specific receiving and storage instructions.

Addresses, tracking, and delivery issues

Customers must provide complete and accurate shipping details. When tracking is available, it will be sent to the contact provided at checkout. If a parcel is delayed, missing, appears tampered with, or is marked delivered but cannot be located, contact info@monroepeps.com so Monroe can investigate with the carrier. Legal responsibility for loss or damage in transit is determined by mandatory law and the applicable contract; a tracking scan alone does not eliminate statutory rights.

Customs and restricted items

Shipments may be delayed, inspected, refused, or seized by customs or other authorities. Monroe will not dispatch products it determines are prohibited for a destination, and will not offer advice on bypassing restrictions. Outcomes involving border intervention, refunds, return freight, and other charges will be assessed under applicable law and the circumstances of the order; no blanket forfeiture of payment applies.

Partial orders and cancellations

If part of an order cannot be supplied, Monroe will contact the customer about appropriate partial fulfillment, substitution only with consent, or a refund of the unavailable portion and related charges where required. If a material delay occurs, customers will receive the cancellation and refund options required by law.
