CJC-1295 / Ipamorelin
What it’s used for
Community reports
This combo pairs CJC-1295 without DAC with ipamorelin, usually in equal amounts; doses are given per ingredient. The two trigger growth-hormone release through different receptors. People use it for body composition, sleep and recovery. No controlled trial of this exact combination is known; the evidence comes from studies of each part and of the long-acting DAC form.
- Body composition Used to improve body composition and hold on to lean muscle.
- Sleep Usually taken before bed. Sleep and dream changes are reported in the first 1–2 weeks.
- Recovery & energy Used for exercise recovery, muscle protein building and energy.
- Skin, joints & aging Also used for skin and connective tissue, joints, healing, inflammation and thinking.

Side effects & safety
Side effects
- Higher GH and IGF-1 levels raise concerns about blood sugar and unwanted growth
Stop and get help if
- Joint swelling or pain
- Blood-sugar changes
- Fatigue or mood changes
- Numbness or tingling
- Signs of infection at the injection site

What regulators say
- FDA notes there isn't enough toxicity data on the no-DAC forms of CJC-1295.
Why most peptides aren’t FDA-approved What’s really in “research use only” vials
Avoid or check first if
- Using insulin — the combo may change insulin sensitivity and blood sugar
- Already using synthetic HGH — it doubles up on growth hormone
In sport
Banned at all times. Ipamorelin is named in S2.2.4 and the CJC-1295 part is a GHRH analogue in the same class, so the combination is banned at all times.

How to mix 5 steps with bacteriostatic water
How to mix
- 1 Wipe both tops Wash your hands, then swab the rubber tops of the peptide vial and the water vial with alcohol. Let them dry.
- 2 Draw the water Use bacteriostatic (BAC) water — sterile water with a preservative, sold for mixing peptides . With a new sterile syringe, draw the amount you entered in the calculator. A 1 mL syringe filled twice is 2 mL.
- 3 Run it down the wall Push the needle into the peptide vial at an angle and let the liquid trickle down the glass, not onto the powder.
- 4 Swirl, don’t shake Gently swirl or roll the vial until the liquid is completely clear. Give it a few minutes if needed.
- 5 Label the vial Write the date and what you mixed (for example 5 mg + 2 mL) on the vial.
This is general practice. If your product came with its own diluent or instructions, follow those. Not sure what to buy? See the supplies checklist .
Injecting under the skin Where, rotating sites, which syringe
- Where: belly (at least 2 in / 5 cm from the navel), front of the thigh, or back of the upper arm.
- Rotate sites each time and skip bruised, scarred or sore skin.
- Syringe: most people use a U-100 insulin syringe with a short, thin needle (29–31 gauge, 8 mm or shorter).
- How: wipe with alcohol and let it dry, pinch the skin, go in at 45–90°, push slowly. Use each syringe once.
General practice for under-the-skin injections, not specific to CJC-1295 (no DAC) / Ipamorelin Protocol.

- Ipamorelin Already in CJC-1295 / Ipamorelin, so you’d be doubling it. Adjust the blend dose instead.
- CJC-1295 with DAC Already gives a GHRH analog and a ghrelin-receptor agonist. Adding CJC-1295 with DAC doubles one of them.
- Sermorelin Already gives a GHRH analog and a ghrelin-receptor agonist. Adding Sermorelin doubles one of them.
- Tesamorelin Already gives a GHRH analog and a ghrelin-receptor agonist. Adding Tesamorelin doubles one of them.
- GHRP-6 Already gives a GHRH analog and a ghrelin-receptor agonist. Adding GHRP-6 doubles one of them.

Use caution 1
- IGF-1 LR3 Both raise IGF-1 activity. Low blood sugar and side effects add up.

- AOD-9604 AOD-9604 is a fat-loss piece of growth hormone that doesn’t raise IGF-1.
What the research says
Untested in people
- Small studies of CJC-1295 with DAC, or of each ingredient alone, can't show the combo's safety or benefit.
- The best ratio, long-term safety and whether effects last after stopping are unknown.
- A certificate of analysis (COA) doesn't show that it's safe to use.
- Combined effects with other growth-hormone drugs haven't been studied.
What studies found
- Component studies do not validate the combination Popular no-DAC CJC/ipamorelin schedules differ from the long-acting DAC formulation in published CJC trials. A controlled human trial of the exact combination was not verified.
How long it stays in your body
Half-life is how fast the level in your body halves — not how long effects last or how often to dose.
