Lab resultsTB-500, explained
TB-500 is a name used for thymosin-beta-4-related peptides. Exact sequence matters when comparing the research.
What it’s used for
Injury research
Source describes muscle, tendon, ligament and wound-related uses.
Sequence distinction
Its eye-research examples mainly concern full-length thymosin beta-4.

Side effects & safety
Side effects
- The reference lists no documented side effects.
Stop and get help if
- Signs of infection, or swelling and redness that won't go away
- Allergic reaction or feeling unwell all over
- Worsening eye symptoms or changes in vision
What regs say
- The FDA found no human exposure data for the TB-500 fragment.
- The FDA flags immune-reaction concerns tied to clumping and impurities.
Avoid or check first
- Cancer
- Taking immunosuppressants
- Pregnant or breastfeeding — safety is unknown
- Putting research powder in the eyes — it isn't a sterile eye product

How to mix and store it
How many units do I draw?
How to mix5 steps
Wipe both tops
Wash your hands, then swab both rubber vial tops with alcohol. Let them dry.
Draw the water
Use a new sterile syringe to draw the water volume selected in the calculator.
Run it down the wall
Introduce the water slowly down the inside glass wall, rather than directly onto the powder.
Swirl, don’t shake
Gently swirl or roll the vial. Allow time for the powder to dissolve.
Label the vial
Write the preparation date and the amount and final volume on the vial label.
Injecting under the skinWhere, rotating sites, which syringe
Where
Subcutaneous injections go into the fatty layer beneath the skin. Common sites include the abdomen, outer thigh and upper arm. Keep at least 5 cm from the navel and avoid bruised, irritated or damaged skin.
Rotate sites
Change the spot each time. Clean the skin and let it dry.
Single-use equipment
Use a new sterile needle and syringe each time. Place used needles in a sharps container.
Storage
Storage
Refrigerated at 2–6°C. Reported period: 28 days.

What the research says
Exact sequence matters
A lab study found a chemically modified piece of thymosin beta-4 in its TB-500 sample. It does not identify Monroe's exact material.
What it’s made of
TB-500 identity is unresolved. The reference may describe a short fragment. Do not equate it with full-length thymosin beta-4 or assume that sequence describes this product.

Questions
What does 5mg mean?
It describes an amount of material in the unit stated on the label. It does not describe liquid volume, a dose, or how to prepare the product.
Read more about amountsDoes purity mean it is sterile?
No. Purity and sterility require different tests. An endotoxin result also does not establish sterility.
About testingCan I calculate concentration?
You need a mass in mg and either a final volume or a target concentration. IU and blends require separate, verified information.
