NAD+, explained
NAD+ is a coenzyme used in energy reactions and DNA-repair research. It is not a peptide.
What it’s used for
Cellular context
Energy and DNA-repair concepts do not establish longer human life.
Form distinction
The source distinguishes delivery through a vein, the nose, the mouth and the skin.
- Research interests
- Cell energy · Energy use · Healthy ageing
A small infusion study did not establish everyday wellness benefits.
Side effects & safety
Side effects
- Nausea or weakness with injections or IV
- Injection-site reactions, infection or allergy
- Stomach upset with oral use
- Rash or burning with topical use
- Nosebleeds or nasal infection with nasal use
- Headache
Stop and get help if
- Trouble breathing — needs urgent assessment
What regs say
- NAD+ wellness infusions aren't an FDA-approved anti-aging treatment.
Avoid or check first
- IV infusion outside a clinical setting — IV use needs clinical supervision
In sport
- The reference treats NAD+ as not prohibited, citing Chinese medicine approval. It also notes the IV-method restriction above 100 mL in 12 hours outside permitted care.

How to mix and store it
How many units do I draw?
How to mix5 steps
Wipe both tops
Wash your hands, then swab both rubber vial tops with alcohol. Let them dry.
Draw the water
Use a new sterile syringe to draw the water volume selected in the calculator.
Run it down the wall
Introduce the water slowly down the inside glass wall, rather than directly onto the powder.
Swirl, don’t shake
Gently swirl or roll the vial. Allow time for the powder to dissolve.
Label the vial
Write the preparation date and the amount and final volume on the vial label.
Injecting under the skinWhere, rotating sites, which syringe
Where
Subcutaneous injections go into the fatty layer beneath the skin. Common sites include the abdomen, outer thigh and upper arm. Keep at least 5 cm from the navel and avoid bruised, irritated or damaged skin.
Rotate sites
Change the spot each time. Clean the skin and let it dry.
Single-use equipment
Use a new sterile needle and syringe each time. Place used needles in a sharps container.
Storage
Storage
Refrigerated at 2-8°C. Reported period: 28 days.

More about these combinations
- Glutathione
They have different proposed roles in energy use and protection from cell damage.
- 5-Amino-1MQ
They are proposed to affect NAD+ in different ways.
What the research says
Energy reactions
Lab research measured how NAD+ and NADH transfer hydrogen during an energy-related chemical reaction that can run in both directions.
DNA-repair signals
NAD+ binding changes an interaction between two proteins involved in DNA repair.
DNA-damage response
The PARP1 protein uses NAD+ to add chemical tags during the response to DNA damage.

Questions
What does 350mg mean?
It describes an amount of material in the unit stated on the label. It does not describe liquid volume, a dose, or how to prepare the product.
Read more about amountsCan I calculate concentration?
You need a mass in mg and either a final volume or a target concentration. IU and blends require separate, verified information.
