NA Semax Amidate
What it’s used for
Community reports
NA Semax Amidate is Semax with two chemical changes: an N-acetyl group on one end and an amide on the other. People use it for focus, learning, memory and resisting mental fatigue, as a nasal spray or injection. There are no controlled human studies of this exact version; what's known comes from research on regular Semax.
- Focus & memory Used for attention, learning, memory and staying sharp when mentally tired.
- Brain protection Explored for brain protection and stroke recovery, based on research with regular Semax rather than this version.
What to expect
Injectable
- 30–60 min Effects start
- 2–4 hours Peak effect
Nasal
- 15–30 min Effects start
- 1–2 hours Peak effect
- 2–12 hours Effects taper off
Side effects & safety
Side effects
- Nasal irritation or nosebleeds
- Headache
- Trouble sleeping
Stop and get help if
- Signs of an allergic reaction
- Signs of infection where you inject
Which symptoms mean call 911 or see a doctor
Avoid or check first if
- Pregnant — safety is unknown
- Taking MAO inhibitors
In sport
Likely banned at all times. The N-acetyl, amidated version is a different molecule from Russia’s approved Semax and has no approval of its own, so S0 applies.

How to mix 5 steps with bacteriostatic water · vial check
How to mix
- 1 Wipe both tops Wash your hands, then swab the rubber tops of the peptide vial and the water vial with alcohol. Let them dry.
- 2 Draw the water Use bacteriostatic (BAC) water — sterile water with a preservative, sold for mixing peptides . With a new sterile syringe, draw the amount you entered in the calculator. A 1 mL syringe filled twice is 2 mL.
- 3 Run it down the wall Push the needle into the peptide vial at an angle and let the liquid trickle down the glass, not onto the powder.
- 4 Swirl, don’t shake Gently swirl or roll the vial until the liquid is completely clear. Give it a few minutes if needed.
- 5 Label the vial Write the date and what you mixed (for example 5 mg + 2 mL) on the vial.
This is general practice. If your product came with its own diluent or instructions, follow those. Not sure what to buy? See the supplies checklist .

Good signs
- White, fluffy powder
- Clear solution
Don’t use if
- Discolored powder
Injecting under the skin Where, rotating sites, which syringe
- Where: belly (at least 2 in / 5 cm from the navel), front of the thigh, or back of the upper arm.
- Rotate sites each time and skip bruised, scarred or sore skin.
- Syringe: most people use a U-100 insulin syringe with a short, thin needle (29–31 gauge, 8 mm or shorter).
- How: wipe with alcohol and let it dry, pinch the skin, go in at 45–90°, push slowly. Use each syringe once.
General practice for under-the-skin injections, not specific to NA Semax Amidate.

How to mix
- 1 Wipe both tops Wash your hands, then swab the rubber tops of the peptide vial and the diluent vial with alcohol. Let them dry.

Storage
Fridge · 24–48 hours Saline mix at 2-8°C (35.6–46.4°F). A bacteriostatic-water mix lasts 28 days, but its benzyl alcohol may irritate the nose.

What the research says
Untested in people
- There are no controlled human trials of this exact modified version.
- Results from regular Semax may not carry over; this version's potency and how much reaches the body in people are unknown.
- A longer half-life or better delivery than regular Semax hasn't been measured.
- Regular Semax's tolerability can't be assumed to apply to this version.
- A congested nose changes how much of a nasal dose is absorbed.
- Its stack pairings are untested ideas, not study results.
What studies found
- Exact analogue has an evidence gap Parent-Semax experiments do not establish that acetylation and amidation preserve benefit, improve brain exposure, or make a safe human product.

How this page was made
How it may work: Proposed neurotrophic/neurotransmitter pathways; direct nasal brain access and systemic bioavailability require derivative-specific confirmation.
Preparation in studies: No product-specific preparation or stability instruction was verified.
Source's 'proven efficacy' and superior bioavailability language overstates verified derivative-specific evidence. Interaction labels are hypotheses.
