Adalank

What it’s used for

Community reports

Adalank (N-acetyl Selank amidate) is a modified version of the anxiety peptide Selank. People use it to feel calmer without sedation, and for focus, memory and steadier mood, by injection or nasal spray. There's no human research on Adalank itself; the evidence comes from studies of Selank.

  • Calmer, less anxious Used for general and stress-related anxiety, aiming to feel calmer without sedation.
  • Focus & memory Used for attention, learning, memory and mental energy.
  • Steadier mood Used for emotional stability, resilience and low-mood symptoms.
  • Brain protection Discussed for BDNF, inflammation and immune support, based on Selank research.

What to expect

  1. Hours 1–6

    Mental clarity

  2. Days 1–3

Fast anxiety response in 40%, extrapolated from Selank data

  3. Weeks 1–2

    Gradual anxiety relief

  4. Weeks 2–4

Changes in focus, memory and mood

  5. Week 4+

    Effects reported to hold steady

  6. After stopping

Effects said to last about a week

Side effects & safety

Side effects

No side effects documented yet.

Stop and get help if

  • Headache, low mood, sedation or unusual fatigue
  • Any new neurological changes or stomach upset
  • Nosebleeds or nasal irritation
  • Signs of infection at the injection site

Which symptoms mean call 911 or see a doctor

Avoid or check first if

  • Pregnant or breastfeeding — safety hasn't been studied
  • Taking diazepam — Selank boosted its effects in rats, and the combination's safety is unknown

In sport

Likely banned at all times. A chemically modified Selank. Approval covers only the exact registered substance, so Selank’s Russian registration doesn’t extend to it and S0 applies.

How to mix 5 steps with bacteriostatic water · vial check

How to mix

  1. 1 Wipe both tops Wash your hands, then swab the rubber tops of the peptide vial and the water vial with alcohol. Let them dry.
  2. 2 Draw the water Use bacteriostatic (BAC) water — sterile water with a preservative, sold for mixing peptides . With a new sterile syringe, draw the amount you entered in the calculator. A 1 mL syringe filled twice is 2 mL.
  3. 3 Run it down the wall Push the needle into the peptide vial at an angle and let the liquid trickle down the glass, not onto the powder.
  4. 4 Swirl, don’t shake Gently swirl or roll the vial until the liquid is completely clear. Give it a few minutes if needed.
  5. 5 Label the vial Write the date and what you mixed (for example 5 mg + 2 mL) on the vial.

This is general practice. If your product came with its own diluent or instructions, follow those. Not sure what to buy? See the supplies checklist .

Is my vial OK?

Good signs

  • White, fluffy powder
  • Clear solution after mixing

Can be normal

  • Slight compaction

Don’t use if

  • Discoloration or yellowing
  • Cloudy after mixing

Injecting under the skin Where, rotating sites, which syringe

  • Where: belly (at least 2 in / 5 cm from the navel), front of the thigh, or back of the upper arm.
  • Rotate sites each time and skip bruised, scarred or sore skin.
  • Syringe: most people use a U-100 insulin syringe with a short, thin needle (29–31 gauge, 8 mm or shorter).
  • How: wipe with alcohol and let it dry, pinch the skin, go in at 45–90°, push slowly. Use each syringe once.

General practice for under-the-skin injections, not specific to Adalank.

Combining it with others

AI assessment Based on how each compound works, not on studies of the combination. How we assess

Don’t combine 1

  • Selank Same peptide family. Doubling up adds side effects, not benefits.

Use caution 1

  • Benzodiazepines May add to the calming effect. Start low.

What the research says

Untested in people

  • No controlled human study of Adalank exists; Selank research doesn't show this modified molecule's effects or safety.
  • How Adalank is absorbed, broken down and interacts with other drugs is unknown.
  • Marketing says it lasts longer, reaches the brain better and isn’t habit-forming; none of this has been tested.

What studies found

  • Cited parent research does not test Adalank The checked cell paper used Selank, with no significant transcript changes from Selank alone. It provides no direct evidence for acetylated, amidated Adalank.
  • Selank in generalized anxiety and neurasthenia Selank (30 patients) was compared with medazepam (32) in GAD/neurasthenia; the abstract reports similar anxiety relief. This is not Adalank research.
  • Selank in ethanol-exposed rats Selank prevented ethanol-related memory/attention impairment in rats after intraperitoneal treatment. The source page incorrectly describes this paper as intranasal BDNF research.
  • Selank plus diazepam in stressed rats Combined Selank/diazepam improved anxiety measures under chronic mild stress in rats. This does not establish Adalank interactions or a safe human combination.
